Brass Plating
Brass Plating at G&A is performed to achieve bright brass and brass oxide finishes. Brass is an alloyed metal of Copper and Zinc. The percentage of each metal determines the strength of the alloy and the resultant color when plated. G&A uses a brass alloy different from typical brass products that provides a unique yellow color. Specifically, the brass alloy used and oxidized for our brass oxide finish produces a yellow-green color with a contrasting black antique feature that is desirable for decorative products.
